Being a small business, I like to work with a fairly small number of clients (Employers) and applicants (Job seekers). This enables me to meet both parties in most situations and enables me to provide a more effective solution to recruitment opportunities.
By interviewing applicants I can make a good assessment of their track record, strengths and weaknesses. My understanding of the business enables me to clarify whether sales figures are good or bad and make some allowance for the sales environment. Wherever possible I try and get relative sales league tables as well as absolute levels of business - this enables a far more rational assessment of just how good the salesperson really is.
I work on either Contingency or Search & Selection basis and can also build in very cost effective advertising in Trade Press.
